Andrea Cominola

Andrea Cominola was born in Borgomanero (NO – Italy) in 1988. He received a BSc cum laude in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2010 and a double-degree MSc cum laude at Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino in 2013. Since Fall 2013 he is PhD candidate in Information Technology in the Natural Resources Management group of Professor Andrea Castelletti at the Department of Information, Electronics and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano. He was formerly visiting researcher at Korea University (Seoul, Korea) and visiting student at PennState University (PA – USA) and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Trondheim, Norway). He attended the double-degree MSc program of Alta Scuola Politecnica (Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino – Milano, Torino – Italy) and since December 2013 he is secretary of the Alta Scuola Politecnica Alumni Association. His research topics focus on urban water consumers behavioural modeling, water demand management and smart metering.
