Special session at EGU 2019 April 2019 in Vienna!

Ctrl+SWAN is pleased to support a special session during EGU 2019 that will be held on 7-12 April 2019 in Vienna (Austria). In the framework of the next European Geosciences Union General Assembly, it is organized the second edition of the GI4.2/HS11.26/NH1.40 Session, entitled “Instrumentation & measurements for water systems”
TOPICS INCLUDED:
Water quantity and quality measurements as well as water characterization techniques are within the scope of this session. Contributions about advancements on field measurement approaches, development of new sensing techniques, low cost sensor systems and measurement methods enabling crowdsourced data collection are welcomed. Also remote sensing techniques for the monitoring of water resources and/or the related infrastructures are within the scope of this session. Contributions dealing with the integration of data from multiple sources are solicited, as well as the design of ICT architectures for the enhanced and user-friendly monitoring towards the necessities of the stakeholders. Studies about signal and data processing techniques targeted to event detection and the integration between sensor networks and large data systems are also very encouraged.

EGU 2018 has been a big success (15,075 participants) and it’s indeed a great opportunity for networking among experts of a wide diversity of disciplines. We also encourage you to distribute this call among your colleagues who might be interested.
